Over one year of recording and rerecording and mixing what could have been followed by a great diary in the internet, Ola and Carina created a masterpiece of today's Pop music. I will never forget the shine in their eyes when they held the record in their hands, when we met the first time! Then I remember, that it is all worth it!

Fine Before You Came - It all started in Malibu - LP - 2003 - SF016
Here we go with a little story of the life of Strange Fruit. Achim booked some shows for this fiver from Milan, unfortunatlly some shows got cancelled, even worse the van broke down in Switzerland. So it was time for Achim to take action! He rented a van picked them up in Switzerland drove them all the way up to Neuss and after another show, Achim and the band picked up Bilhan and me and we drove our friends back to Italy. Too bad that we couldn't stay cause Bilhan and me had to go to work and Achim had to give back the van, so we drove back straight away. (3000 km in three days). Wouldn't you do this for a band you are in love with?

Ariel Kill Him - In The Pyramid - LP - 2003 - SF014
I was so happy when I heard that we will be able to do David Lehnberg's third album as Ariel Kill Him, his second for Strange Fruit. Only "Not Today, Not Tomorrow" would have been worth it to spend all the money to press it on vinyl! Also the great artwork looks so much better on vinyl then on CD. Vinyl rules!

Call David - Elegy Vs. Tragedy - CD - 2002 - SF013
Strange Fruit went back to its roots by releasing the debut of this young Hardcore band from Stuttgart. Call David succeded to bring their live power to a piece of plastic. I remember sitting with Achim (SF), Griegi and Dirk (both CD)in Strange Fruit Headquarter in Cake City folding and numbering all the booklets and putting them in the jewel case. This is devotion, this is underground, this is hardcore!

Buck - Hate Angels - 7'' - 2002 - SF010
This record reminded me of our first release, because it took such a long time until it finally came out. Songs have been recorded and mixed and then rerecorded and remixed. Same thing for the artwork. But again, it was worth to wait, because it turned out so well! Buck are from Sweden and play catchy Indierock with its very own note.Three songs that will make you all happy out there!

Starmarket - Song of Songs - CD - 2001 - SF009
How big are chances that you will ver release a record of your alltime favourite band? For us this dream came true! It's also the first time a Starmarket album was pressed on vinyl! Starmarket wanted to go away from the sad and long arranged songs of the Four Hours Light phase. So they recorded all the songs live in the studio and out came an album full of lively catchy songs! Maybe a big disappointment for people who expected a second Four Hours Light album but a big hit for people who love to dance to great music, instead of being sad.

Two smashers you will never get out your head and heart again. Call it PopPowerPunkrock ot what ever, just listen to it and dance along! Secondly, Lights at Amber out of Saarlouis to conquer the hearts of the audience and of course the charts in Japan! Light at Amber are unique, innovativ but still catchy and melodic. You for sure will love them! Last but not least Morning Before deliver their farewell songs. The album also has a most beautiful artwork with brilliant drawings and linernotes to all the songs! Check out A Modest Proposal if you share the same love for music and life, I think this quotion says it all: "sans la musique la vie serait une erreur!"
